Retrospective: Using the Nikon AFS 70-300 VR lens adapted to the Olympus OM-D E-M5

*This is one of the blog entries written in retrospective based on my recollection of the events which took place earlier.

I went to the zoo in an outing one day. As I was curious as to how the Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR can perform with the 2x cropped sensor of the Olympus, I brought the lens along with me.

Below are some of the photos taken.

I like this combination very much. It's able to give me a much better reach than my other lenses. The only disadvantage here is it's on manual focusing only. I do not think I should spend more money to get the Olympus MZ 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 II lens.

What do you think?
