The next stop of the event was at Pantai Cahaya Bulan, where we were told that there would be monkeys plucking coconuts, traditional top spinning, and also batik (textile) making. Somehow I missed the batik printing part as I didn't know where or when it was. Haha......

Here was the right time and place to use the high-speed shutter burst of this monster. The performance of the performance of the camera doesn't disappoint me at all! Look at all the shots below, shot at ISO1250, f2.8, 1/8000 sec.

The battery in the Sony a9 was soon depleted and I returned the unit to Sony Malaysia before we left for the next destination, Kampung Mek Mas, where they had Makyong, Silat and some other attractions waiting for us.
